It is common for applicants to reuse information from previously submitted applications. While this will save time, if the application has not been thoughtfully updated, it could significantly affect the chances of the application being funded.
Applicants need to provide current program details, including results if delivered before, to help demonstrate why it should be considered for funding. Providing information on past successes and challenges indicates that results are being measured and the needs of participants are being listened to and met. Applicants should also keep in mind feedback received on previously submitted applications. Noting and addressing feedback provided in funding letters will strengthen the application and provide greater clarity on any questions the review committee may have.
CIF staff are here to support you throughout the application and granting process. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you have questions or need assistance!
